MEQUINENZA TOWN

Mequinenza, is a small town in Spain.

 1. A bit of History: "Lo Poble Vell":
         Not to many time ago, our town was located in another place, close to the new one. Has been building a big dam which change our lifes.

2.Important Places:

• The Main Square: is a meeting place. There we enjoy a lot. You can eat, drink something, play... and in summer, every saturday  night, you can also dance.
• Sala Goya: Is our theatre and Cinema. We use it every Christimas to do our Christmas Festival.
• The Church: where the faithfull go.
• The Radio: which update us about the news of our village.
• The Castle: is one of the symbol of our town.

3. Sports:  Fishing and rowing are the most popular sports here. Also, we practice: Tennis, Football, Padel, etc.
